This year, the Odyssey has received numerous updates to the styling as well as updated technology and safety features. What's New for the Odyssey Style in 2021
New this year for the Odyssey is a restyled grille and front bumper fascia, revised front lighting, and black trim under the rear window. These flourishes give the Odyssey a fresh look to the exterior. Inside the cabin, the Odyssey provides consumers with more comfort and luxury. The second-row seats on all trims fold almost to the floor, which makes them very easy to remove while providing more cargo space. These features also expand on the flexibility of the Odyssey's class-exclusive MagicSilde second-row seats. On Odyssey EX trims and above, the seats have been completely restyled along with tri-colored floormats. Meanwhile, the EX-L trim and above get power lumbar support with the front passenger seat and contrast stitching. Higher-level trims will see a new piano black trim on the dash, doors, and front door handle.
What are Some Interior Changes?
The all-new 2021 Honda Odyssey comes with a new Rear Seat Reminder System, which is standard on all trims and can be integrated with the Odysseys CabinWatch child viewing system. For the first time, the Odyssey allows its drivers to use its CabinTalk and CabinWatch simultaneously for even more control. On the safety front, the Honda Sensing package has been upgraded to include Low-Speed Follow, Pedestrian Emergency Braking, and Traffic Sign Recognition to the newly standard suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies. Additionally, the Odyssey's cargo management system has been improved with the addition of grocery bag hooks on the back and third-row seats in the rear cargo area. Meanwhile, an updated center console with additional slots so you can manage charging cords for your wireless devices.
Additional Upgrades
In 2021, the Odyssey Elite receives a few exclusive upgrades to give owner's a more luxurious driving experience. Included is perforated leather for the first and second-row seats. Contrast stitching and piping are available on all three rows for a more plush feel. Elite trims of the Odyssey also add exclusive dash trim with a more in-depth metallic look as well as newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels and auto-dimming side mirrors. Honda Sensing controls have been further simplified thanks to the use of a single integrated system switch to control the Collision Mitigation Braking System and Lane Departure Warning. This switch also controls the blind spot information system.
One Powerful Engine
All versions of the 2021 Honda Odyssey come with a confidence-inspiring 3.5-liter V6 engine that pumps out 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The engine connects smoothly to a ten-speed automatic transmission. This amount of power proves that just because you have a minivan, doesn't mean you can't have the horsepower of a sports car!
