What powers the 2022 Honda Passport?
If you've come looking for power, then you've come to the right place with the 2022 Honda Passport! All trim levels come standard with a spectacular 3.5-liter V6 engine that doles out a potent 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Pairing with this engine is a nine-speed automatic transmission that will provide you with a smooth ride no matter where you happen to travel. If you decide on the base EX-L trim, you will get front-wheel-drive with the option for all-wheel-drive if you want a little more traction. All other trims come standard with all-wheel-drive.
Features available for the 2022 Passport
There are three trim levels available for the 2022 Passport, and each one comes with an astronomical amount of features! The base trim is known as the EX-L, and it comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, sunroof, remote engine start, heated front seats, driver's seat memory settings, and leather upholstery! In addition, there is plenty of tech available for the EX-L, such as an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and wireless smartphone charging. If you want a little more rugged appearance as well as some off-road features, then the TrailSport is for you! It comes with 18-inch wheels with aggressive tire thread, roof rails, a heated wiper rest zone, ambient interior lighting, and a navigation system. Then there is the Elite, which tops the range with a hands-free liftgate, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker sound system, and HondaLink connected services.
What safety systems can I expect for the Passport?
Seeing as how the Passport is a Honda vehicle, it will come with a ton of standard safety systems! These systems are designed to protect you and your family no matter where you travel. Standard on all Passports is a Blind-Spot Monitor with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will warn you if another vehicle is entering your blind spot or coming up behind you while changing lanes. Another standard system is the Forward Collision Mitigation system which will warn you of an impending head-on collision and can even apply the brakes if you fail to do so! You also get a standard Adaptive Cruise Control system that will help you maintain a pre-set distance between the Passport and the vehicle in front of it. Other standard safety systems include a Lane-Keeping System and parking sensors.
