LX
All trims of the Honda Pilot are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, which pairs with a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but all-wheel-drive is an available option. As for features, the LX comes with automatic LED headlights, a 5-inch central display screen, and a seven-speaker audio system. You also get several safety features, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and lane-keeping assist.

EX
The Pilot ups its game with the EX trim as it comes with keyless entry and heated mirrors, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, one-touch slide-and-fold second-row seats, and a larger 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get even more safety features such as a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.

EX-L and SE
The Pilot EX-L adds more extras such as a power liftgate, sunroof, leather upholstery, second-row sunshades, and second-row USB charging ports. In 2021, the Pilot has a special edition called the SE, which comes with all of the EX-L's features plus wireless smartphone charging, a hands-free liftgate, black roof rails, and 20-inch black alloy wheels.

Touring

Elite and Black Edition
The top of the Pilot trims is the Elite, which adds on the features list with second-row captains chairs, auto-dimming and power-folding side mirrors, panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated front seats. New this year is a Black Edition which adds Black Edition exterior trim, Black Edition leather trim, red ambient LED lighting, and 20-inch Black alloy wheels.
